t-and-f: Sad news

Netters:         Just a little while ago, I was informed that Jim Tuppeny, former coach at Penn and longtime director of the Penn Relays, is in very serious condition from his lengthy battle with cancer. He signed out of the hospital and is now at home being cared for by five of his daughters.           Jim was, before his Penn says, assistant coach to the legendary Jumbo Elliott at Villanova. His has been a life totally dedicated to the sport we all love. Your thoughts and/or prayers are requested for him and his family.                                                                       Ed Grant
