The following message has been written on the EAA News Board: ***************************************************** -- TITEL: Memorial for Emil Zatopek -- ***************************************************** The Memorial for the late Emil Zatopek, the legendary Czech distance runner, four-times Olympic Champion and World Record Holder, will be held on Wednesday, 6 December 2000, at 11:00 a.m. in the National Theatre of Prague, where the public has the possibility to pay tribute and say farewell to the greatest sports personality in the Czech history. IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch and other leading personalities will attend the ceremony.
