Byrne went to Georgetown. I seem to remember meeting Vince Cartier at a
WSSAC function (that's Warren Street Social and Athletic Club for those of
you non-initiates) around 1980 or 81 - let's just say his resemblance to
the Irish barflies at that point was closer than his resemblance to the
running element hanging out at Shannons Bar...
As for Byrne, somewhere I remember a fairly amusing story of an encounter
between he and an overzealous DC policeman who was bent on enforcing
jaywalking laws, but I don't remember the details. A good, but non-awesome
career for Kevin in college.
