Subject: t-and-f: correction to hayward field 10k record

list member steve dinitale wins the 's.i.d. for a day contest'  (feel free
to take over for any of the major meets this season) for a grievous error
on my part

when i mentioned the potential for a fast us 10k champs at hayward field, i
listed the oregon school record (27:50.82 oops!) as the track record -- a
time that is 21 seconds slower than the ACTUAL track record (henry rono,
27:29.90)

if they break that one, they might as well keep going for nenow's 27:20.56

I would guess that Salazar's mark is barely in the top 10 performances at Hayward, much less the stadium record.  The Olympic Trials record is:

27:45.61        Craig Virgin    Eugene  June 24, 1980

and the 1976 FOT was close between him and Shorter.  Pre ran his 27:42 AR in Eugene as well.  And Rono was not alone in his 27:29.
