I no longer remember the exact details, because it happened before i worked at T&FN, 
but i remember the mgazine having a story in the late '60s, about one of the old Relay 
Triple Crown meets (Texas-Kansas-Drake), and in one of the heats of the 400H the field 
had scratched to a single guy for some reason. All he needed to do was walk around the 
track to make the final but he was so nervous he false-started TWICE and was DQed!
