Arkansas lands FHS' Hatch By Michael Sandrock Camera Sports Writer -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fairview track star James Hatch has given a verbal commitment to attend the University of Arkansas. Hatch selected the Razorbacks over Georgetown and Tennessee. He will sign his letter of intent on April 11, the national signing date. "I figured Arkansas will be the best place for me," Hatch said on Friday. He said he wanted to make his decision as soon as he could this spring, so that he could concentrate on his last track season. Hatch, a key member of the Fairview cross country team that won the state title last fall, will attempt to win his first individual state championships at the state meet May 18-19.
