Netters:
Normally a 223-5 HS JT would be nothing special, but there were two facts about today';s tosds by Rob Smith of Hopatcong, NJ, that made it interesting:

        1) It was by far the best javelin toss by a boy in NJ since we were forced to adapt a rubber-tipped javelin sone years ago,. While our girls have had little trouble with the rubber-tipped implements, the boys have had a hard time getting past 200 feet.

        2) Smith;s coach is Mike Juskus, who a generation ago was one of the nation's top throwers, even though he had never touhed a javelin until he got to Glassboro State (now Rowan).
