A famous guy who currently runs t&f and road races is my teammate (Tamalpa Runners in Marin County, CA) Dr. Elmo (Elmo Shropshire) who sings "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer", a much played holiday sing along song.
Another dude that comes to mind (and now I'm reaching ever deeper into the esoteric) is Karsten Solheim.
