If he returns to form, I wonder what the possibilities are for a late season
head-to-head with Dvorak, Sebrle and Nool. With the latter competing in the
Euro champs, and Macey at both (?) Commonwealth and Euros, a match up at
Talence in Sept (?) is most likely improbable.

BTW, his announced early season appearance schedule in the US --Modesto
Relays 5-May and Pre Classic 26-May, along with Mt SAC and Nationals-- is if
nothing else a nice effort to get a well-known name out there and competing.

I do hope he is in shape though.  With only 5 8000+ decathletes in the last
two season, the US multis could use a boost.
