Netters:
Tawana Watkins of Paterson Kennedy, the 2001 National outdoor
champion in the 400H, may be out for the season with a back injury. It could
be a stress fracture. She will certainly miss the first month of the season,
which means missing Penn for the 2nd year in a row. There is just a chance
that she will return in time for our state meet, but, since that begins May
25, a better chance that she will be at Raleigh.Ed Grant
