Netters:
Ray Williams of Scotch Plains had another sub-46.0 carry in a DMR
todfay at the Blue devil relays in Westfield.

The future Purdue football (and hopefully track) star ran a 45.8 to
shave a tenth off his state record relay leg of 45.9 set a week ago at
Summit. Again, Williams was touched off well back on the second leg of the
DMR and just oulled even with the leaders as he handed off the baton. He was
supposed to some back in the SMR, but a thunderstorm interrupted the
proceedings and his coaches decided to run a second-string team in that one.

Camden Wilson had quite a day at the Woodbury Relays (actually held
in West Deptford while long overdue repairs are being made to the Woodbury
track)

Ringo Adamson's girls won five of the seven events agaiunst stiff
opposition (Willingbro and camden) and had marks of 48.72, 3:53.94MR,
9:38.7, 12:31.41 and 1:03.4MR, oplus a non-winning 1:46.34 in the 800R. The
event not won by Wilson went to sister school Camden in the 800 at 1:42.59
and Willingboro in the SMR at 4:09.8MR.
In another division, Eastern tripled the sprints in 48.55, 1:41.97
and 3:55.25.

The big news in the boys; action was the return of Camden sprinter
Jamar Ervin in his first outing since a brief apperance in February. He
anchored a 42.2 win in the 400R and a 1:29,96 in the 800R, the 400 being run
without Maurice Young and the 800 without either Young or Jade Smith,
members of Camden's Penn relays 1600 winners last year.

They did join Ervin for the 1600R, where Camden won in 3:16.94,
while Smith and Young were on an SMR which won in 3:32.59.
