gh disclaimer: while I'm not a member of the "Stanford family" I am on the LOC for the 
meet, so apply as many grains of salt as you want to my comments here.

There's no question that while the traditional Angell Field seating isn't 
optimal--primarily because the stands are too close to the track--I think you'll find 
that the new bleachers being installed (the silver section and upper bronze on the 
map) will go a long way towards satisfying the discriminating fan, even if the Aggies 
can't have their beloved spot at the 1500 start.
