OK, it's now obvious that they invented Red Stick so that all the repressed conservatism that The Big Easy doesn't allow could be displayed elsewhere. by the time you get back from the NCAA meet your hotel isn't serving food, and maybe you get a 10-minute window where you can buy a glass or two of god's favorite food--that would be beer-- but other than that, the pickins is way slim.
Contrast that to New Orleans where the only liquor law is that you can't under any circumstances drink alcohol in the streets..... unless it's in plastic! How are we fat journalists supposed to maintain our proper girth?! gh ps--having said that, there is one killer "British pub" that has about 100 kinds of bottled beer (including the best, Chimay) and a coupla dozen varities on tap. Not to mention a score of super single malts. Check w/ the coaching staffs of [censored--but we are talkign Pac-10 and ACC, to mentin a couple] for recommendations.
