Randy,
Dennis Mitchell at Akron is a former POLE VAULTER not the sprinter/beer sex impresario
He is an excellent coach and that is how he got to the staff.

Geez Louise

You mean when you become a coach you are no longer a former sprinter? Geez.
It IS possible to be both.
And Dennis' reputation, fame, and basis are entirely based on his elite
sprinting career, NOT coaching. Maybe that will change some day, but not yet.
I doubt he was named to the international squad because of his current
position, but because of his previous experience on international squads.

Sorry the reputation of your coach got dissed, but Akron hired him, not any of
us.
