Jamaica's Jermain Gonzales, winner of the 400m in 45.42 and Nathan Morgan
who jumped 8.03m were about the highlights of the EAA Permit Meeting
"Tofalia 2004" held in Patra, Greece. Good marks also for Jamaica's Roneta
Smith who dominated the 400m in 51.66 and Konstantina Efentaki who
approached the 800m greek record winning the race in 2:01.59.

Interesting come-back for Charalambos Papadias, the 60m World Indoor
Champion in Paris' 97. Papadias clocked 10.34 in the 100m to follow Angelos
Pavlakakis who set a season's best of 10.33; both confirmed their
participation in the IAAF Grand Prix II meet to be held in Thessaloniki
next Monday, where they have one more chance for the Olympic standard.
