The second indoor meeting in Peania, Athens, brought a long jump national
record for Greece, set by Luis Tsatoumas, who jumped 8.15 m. in his first
attempt.

Georgia Kokloni, the bronze medalist of the European Indoor Championships
2002, clocked 7.18 in the 60m, approaching her personal best, while Katerina
Stefanidi, 15, cleared 4.15 to break again the juniors and U18 pole vault
records for Greece. Cyprus's Anna Fitidou was the pole vault winner, with
4.40m, improving 4 times her own national record.

One more juniors' record for Konstantinos Filippidis who cleared 5.61m and
attempted unsuccessfully at 5.71m. Filippidis new mark is also better than
the national outdoor juniors record, while it is the second all time indoor
performance by a junior athlete in Europe
