Hi, me again,
didn't want to offend any forum with my posting :-)
I must say that I like TFN, it's not bad at all - I also post there from time
to time.

Anyhow it's more practical (at least for me) having the discussions, stats and
results in my mailbox than on a webpage.
I could just push delete if it didn't interest me.
Like Dave Cameron, I realize though it won't be any revival of the mailing list
of earlier days - I just had a sort of
nostalgy trip today ;-)

I have to agree with Walter and Martin. This list has been largely
replaced by other vehicles for discussion among track fans. My only
participation these days is on the T&FN Message Board. Martin is
right--that forum is quite international in its scope. In fact, one
of its leading contributors is based in Sweden. Yes, there is more
information there about the US than about other countries, but that
was always true of the Darkwing forum as well.

I still subscribe here, and will continue to do so for a number of
reasons. But T&FN obviously has a better and more active forum right
now, and their forum technology is better too. If you haven't tried
it recently, you should. I think you'll find there's a lot there for
you.
