Not that it substantially affects any of your arguments, but the altitude at 
Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium track is 2,139 ft (652 m) and Boise State's 
Mustang Stadium is at 2,695 ft (821 m).

Not a Ph.D., just a topographic map reader and data collector.  ;-)
