Hi John,
it should be possible to wire any OS into the build and use T2
for the toolchain build and packages available.
This would make sense to share common code, e.g. to setup
the GCC to cross compile, or additional user-space packages,
and - of course - to have a common build system for people
who work with different kernels.
Yours,

Is "similar" close enough to think of using T2? Or is it mainly
for unixes?
After I asked this, I found Minix-3 is a project to build with T2
SDE. That could be useful, but it is only tested on X86 hardware so
far and my target of choice is ARM cortex-m3 running no OS or ecos.
What would it be like to build ecos using T2? Is it not worth
thinking about since ecos has its own build methods already?
Thanks,
John Griessen
