Hi,

this additional modules are only build when the look-aes package is selected (any package can hook into other ones and injected stuff, e.g. this third party
kernel modules).

I never used the package, apparently few do - so it appears to be out- of-date.

If you do not plan to use encrypted filesystem stuff you can safely deselect it.

After searching trough the web i have found under http://loop-aes.sourceforge.net/ciphers.README the following text:
"[ciphers modules have been moved to loop-AES package on 2007-05-15.
See loop-AES source and README files for more up to date information.]"

I ask me now -> is it really necessary to build the ciphers-v3.0e package?
