Yesterday I went back to the beach and there were no whales in
sight. That makes me think the whale on the previous Monday had come
to see us. Can whales really be curious about card weaving?

I like to add a few points to the CNCH reports.

Approx. 23 people attended the meeting. I have the attendance sheet
with 19 names. Several people had left already when we started to get
more formal. I was really pleased to see so many card weavers coming
together! Nancy, can you beat that at Convergence?

Not to forget, several card woven bands/neck laces/belts were on
display in the galleries. Did anybody take pictures?

On Monday I showed my 8 samples for the sample exchange to Nora and
Linda. (The deadline used to be May 1st, and now is ... Janis and
Margaret will make an announcement). Now you know it - somebody is
ahead of schedule!

Curious as these two ladies are they wanted to see the draft. That got
us into a lengthy discussion about draft notation. I have not written
it up yet but will certainly generate it using my software. The result
will be similar to what I used in my previous TWIST articles.

You should know that Nora is the keeper of many card woven
treasures. I encouraged her (and Linda) to write about one very
remarkable purse.
