I don't remember why I didn't get to that particular part. Ohhh, I remember now. I had the whole thing solved until I started unconvering some of the tap form components that were parsing and throwing possible val errors during rewind, which would prevent us from getting this "one" value submitted without validating the rest of the form.
This will have to wait until tap 4.1 when howard refactors the rewind cycle I think. (There ~might~ be a way to do it still, but I'm not finding enough of a drive to make it worth the effort with howard already refactoring this).

yea isn't that some thought . I was talking at one point about
validators that work through ajax requests . I guess having a
mechanism in place that allows you to call a listener for a SINGLE
field and submit that one field only , would fix both what Jeremy
needs done , allow validators , and a lot of other cool stuff .
