I can't say for sure but I don't see any reason why a FormTable wouldn't work with an AjaxForm. You may run into some issues if it has hidden input fields floating around some area I didn't expect, but there's only one way to find out right? Just build it with a normal form and get it working that way first, then try the AjaxForm.
