Not sure about the dojo stuff but tacos.js is very easy to debug with venkman the firefox debugger. Just select the file and put a breakpoint in it. And I read today that myeclipse has now debug support for javascript files from the normal debugger. Looks really cool although I didn't have the time to test it.
