all current tacos source releases are based on dojo 0.3.x Basically,
dojo is far from stable right now, so keeping code current with any
version of dojo is a royal pain in the a$$. It seems like every time
the dojo guys fix one problem, they create several new ones, and if
you put special hacks into the tacos code to work around dojo issues,
they inevitably break with the next release of dojo. The only way to
deal with this that I have found is to make subclasses of dojo objects
which provide corrected functionality, and then code to those
subclasses. This has some hope of insulating tacos from changes
happening in dojo. To be honest, I am working in a project which uses
dojo heavily (via tacos) and I am very concerned with the apparent
inability to keep code even remotely stable, even between numbered
releases. They also seem inordinately slow to accept good patches
back into the codebase, even when they fix repeatable bugs. I've been
waiting for several months now with still no fix in sight, so I have
to manually patch every version of dojo to keep things working in
Safari.
