I have not as of yet as I am working on
another project at the moment. I have been using the Web Developer toolbar in
Firefox to help troubleshoot this and all the requests are https not http. The
tooltips and popups come up even if you tell IE not to display anything
insecure. If I find some work around I’ll let you know.

"about:blank" may be the cause of IE's behavior,
BUT I don't see any "about:blank" generated somewhere...
What's your generated source? Which version of tacos you have?
