Hi,
I came across a duplicate of a road route.
Both have the same number of members.
One has the name, the other has the reference.
I delete one placing the relevant tags on the other.

Question:
Is there a reason why 2 road route relations are required - one for the
name the other for the ref???
Note the duplicate was created some 10 years ago .. there may have been
a rendering issue back then...
I did look on tag info and ~ 90% had name and ~ 75% had references .. so
both name and ref must be used on some of these routes in OSM.
I checked another main road nearby ,,, and came up with a similar but
more complex situation.
The name Hume Highway is on
https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/2103184 no ref tag. (entire
length covered)
The name 'Hume Highway (northbound)' is on
https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/9436122 (south of Albury)
The reference is on;
https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/14879845 (north of Albury)
https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/2103183 (north of Albury) ..
could be a duplicate of the above
https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/240718 (south of Albury)
I'd have to look harder for more infor on the Hume Hwy situation. But
the Snowy Mountains Highway is fairly clear cut.
