If I understand it correctly, that "?" doesn't actually mean "writeable", right? It really means "unknown, and there are no constraints on the context in which it was found that would cause correct implementations that *do* recognize it to return something writeable", yeah? Similarly, am I correct in thinking that ?-IMM means "unknown but found in a context that would cause a correct implementation that recognizes it to refuse to return something mutable".
