Greeting Wolfgang Strobl: Thanks for the message! I'm sorry you fell afoul of one of the details that can be confusing for newcomers -- logging. The logging system *is* thoroughly documented, but apparently we need better organization or indexing or searching for our documentation, because you spent a lot of time investigating and you never found it.
It would help to find out where you *did* look, so we can put a pointer to the docs in the places where you looked.
