Done (commit 39290a3), pushed directly to devel. I actually went as far as writing draft end-user documentation, including detailed steps to recover from errors and report them. This should hopefully make sajolida's task easier. I've only created pages where the user is pointed to on failure: the upgrade process is meant to be run automatically in the end, so I don't think we need any general user documentation for it. sajolida: please review and improve, either in the devel or feature/incremental-upgrades branch, as you see fit (#5906 is the relevant ticket). I'm now going to prepare, in a dedicated branch (feature/incremental-upgrades-integration), the documentation changes that will be useful when we enable incremental upgrades by default.
