I am trying to create a bootable USB stick using the Tails Installer.
I am working from a MacBook Air Mid 2011 (MacBookAir4,2) with OS X 10.8.5.
I have installed "rEFIInd v0.7.6" on the MacBook and this is functioning
correctly.

The version of Tails is 0.22. I am able to manually create a bootable USB
and also created a bootable DVD with this version of Tails. Using either
of these medium, I am able to boot and run Tails. I want to create a USB
Stick with a persistent volume (using the Tails Installer).
I am following the instructions on the web page "Installing onto a USB
Stick or SD Card". I boot into tails from either the manually created USB
Stick or the boot DVD and run the Tails Installer. I insert my USB drive,
it is found, and I choose it as the destination) and the installation. *Note
that ALL instructions or information that I have seen on this process
refers to clicking a "Create Live USB" button*, but the only button I see
is a "Install Tails" button (?). The install proceed with no errors and at
the the end I click "OK' and shutdown Tails. I start the MacBook again,
the rEFIInd Menu appears showing an option for Debian boot (Penguin) and I
choose that option. The boot process starts, and then I see a line saying
"...... no boot device found ......" and the boot process halts.

I have tried this by using different USB drives when booted into Tails by
the DVD, and also by the a manual install USB Stick. I have also tried
using a external USB drive as the destination (both from the DVD Boot and
the USB Stick boot) with the same results.

Note also that when booting from either the DVD or a USB Stick, the rEFIInd
menu will show the 'generic' icon for the USB/DVD choice, but when
attempting to boot from the USB Stick or USB Drive created by 'Clone and
Install' in Tails Installer the rEFIInd menu will show the Penguin
instead.....
I find it odd that I do NOT have a *"Create Live USB" button"* in Tails
Installer as referred to in the documentation, eve though the messages
generated during the clone/install show that a "Live USB" is being
created......

Any help would be appreciated!!!
Thanks, Rob
