If MAC spoofing is enabled (which is the default) then all network
devices that fails to be spoofed will be temporarily disabled until next
reboot, and a notification will be shown for each. They are disabled
like this so they won't leak the real MAC address, as a fail-safe. If
MAC spoofing is disabled there should be no differences compared to
previous Tails releases.

Earlier in this thread there seemed to be some confusion about the
meaning of "network devices" in this context. To clarify, it only refers
to devices that enables networking on the computer running Tails, e.g.
wired network cards, Wi-Fi/wireless network card, 3G/HSDPA modules and
similar.
