I forwarding this to [email protected], which is our mailing list for user questions. The SSH client is Tails is configured to prefer strong ciphers and MACs by default. See /etc/ssh/ssh_config. So maybe your SSH server does only support weaker crypto that is not enabled in Tails. I frequently connect to SSH servers using Tails and never faced this problem. I think you best bet is to update the SSH of your server or check its configuration. -- sajolida
