Anyone who has hardware that requires the broadcom-sta kernel module, please try the latest experimental ISO from 20150102 you'll get at http://nightly.tails.boum.org/build_Tails_ISO_feature-jessie/ (currently building, not available yet). Thanks in advance.
I attempted to test this. Here are my results.

I downloaded tails-i386-feature_jessie-1.3-20150101T2100Z-8d179dd.iso (the ISO file).

I set up a virtual machine in Parallels. I used the ISO file as a virtual optical drive. I booted Tails Linux from this optical drive. This yielded a Tails Linux environment. I performed the rest of these steps from a sudo bash prompt in this environment.

I did "apt-get update"

I did "apt-get install broadcom-sta-dkms"

I attempted to use the graphical program "Tails Installer." This appears to be broken, so I could not proceed any further. I attempted to use the Tails Installer several times. I used two different flash USB drives. I tried to format these drives in various ways, such as ext2, FAT32 with Microsoft MBR table, and also with the entire drive wiped out as follows:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdb count=1024

The Tails Installer directed my attention to the file /tmp/liveusb-creator.log. The rest of this email consists of the content of this log file.
