I recently made a TAILS USB stick via Windows, and that stick works
fine. However, the USB I created with the TAILS Installer from within
TAILS, as well as the SD card one, will not recognize on either my
Windows 7 or my Ubuntu desktops. The only way I've gotten any results
from them is if I've had both the original and new USB inserted in the
computer at the same time, but I have to create an admin password and
complete initial setup every time, and this is not what I want. I
tested this by having both USB sticks inserted in the computer. TAILS
booted up successfully. Normally, TAILS will not boot from the loaders
I made from within my initial USB. If this is the case, then TAILS is
booting from the initial USB. I remove the new USB. TAILS shuts down.
However, inserting the new USB or SD card by themselves simply leaves
me booting up Windows, and the device is not even recognized in the
BIOS. How can I make my USB and/or SD loaders recognize in my
computers so that I can boot from them?
