New to encryption. Writing from friend's account. Tried to download
TAILS from: https://tails.boum.org/download/index.en.html Downloaded
also the TAILS 1.4signature from
the same page. Followed the instructions from:
https://tails.boum.org/download/index.en.html#verify, I finally arrived
at the following error message at the command line:
# gpg --keyid-format long --verify tails-i386-1.4.iso.sig tails-i386-1.4.iso
gpg: Signature made Mon 11 May 2015 01:56:27 PM EDT
gpg: using RSA key 98FEC6BC752A3DB6
gpg: BAD signature from "Tails developers (offline long-term identity
key) <[email protected]>"
Tried re-downloading both the .iso, and the .sig files. Same result.
Checked the SHA256 sum for the .iso file, and it was good. So probably a
good .iso file. What gives? Any ideas? Thanks!
