Hi Intrigeri,

Thanks for you answer.

Meanwhile I already read that there could be problems with "leftovers" on the USB-stick. So I formatted it and then deleted the last data with the overwriting tool from CCleaner(took about 12hrs for 32Gb). I should think the thing is as
empty as can be.

I deleted my ISO-file, downloaded a new one and ran it with Universal USB
Installer with the option of formatting on.

Same result :

“Warning no configuration file found
Boot:”

Maybe I could try another USB installer which I once used to
install Ubuntu?

Someone has any other ideas?

I have a problem loading Tails from a bootable USB-stick.

When I boot from the USB, I get the following error message:

“Warning no configuration file found
Boot:”

As requested the info about what I already did :

*Version Tails 1.5
*ISO is verified
*PC : eMachines EL1870
*Installed on USB with Universal Bus Installer

IIRC, Universal USB Installer has a few options (e.g. "format device"
or similar), and one of those combinations should work.
