Dear Tails developers/users. Please let me know the recommended procedure for migrating from using Pidgin with XMPP over OTR on Windows to Tails with persistence. I have many authenticated otr keys and buddies who have authenticated mine, so do not want to start over building trust from scratch again.
I have seen somewhere that I should just copy over the old ~/.purple folder onto the one in Tails (thus overwriting the one in Tails of course), but it seems that this folder contains not just stuff about accounts and otr keys, but also other settings, and I dont want to mess with any settings that have been set for security etc in Tails. Besides, Im not sure which folder to use in Tails, since there seems to be several relevant places like /home/amnesia/.purple, /live/overlay/home/amnesia/.purple, /live/persistence/TailsData_unlocked/pidgin and maybe more, some just linking to others I guess.
