First off, Tails is a live system which means it's designed to run off a USB or CD. It cannot be installed to a hard disk.
If you're still interested in trying it(it's amazing, and we're here to help) try downloading the operating system from tails.boum.org and click download. The download assistant will help you download. You require two usb's, time and about 2gbs of space.
