Hi,

I have been using Tails for a little while, and have a persistent volume
working on it. I have set up my own PGP keys which work fine and can be
used when I load persitence.

I am having trouble though when I try to import other peoples public PGP
keys into Tails. I have tried by copying a key to the clipboard then
choosing to Manage Keys, then going to edit -> paste, and I have tried by
pasting the key into gedit and saving as a .asc file, and then in Manage
Keys going to File -> Import. Trying both of these methods gives the
following error:

*Import failed: mpi too large for this implementation (27775 bits)*

I have also tried just double clicking the .asc file, and this gives the
following error:

*Import failed: Keys were found but not imported*

Everything else seems to be working fine, I can decrypt messages to me
using my private key. I have also tried importing the same public keys
into another PGP program (gpg4usb) on a WIn7 machine and they imported
succesfully and I can use them to encrpt messages. I also tried exporting
the keys from that program to a file and then trying to import using that
file on Tails, but the same error messages appear.

Do you have any suggestions for what the problem may be, or what I am doing
wrong?

Thanks,
Stephen
