Hello, is it safe to use synaptic and update packages? I notice Tor 0.2.8.9 has been released according to the official tor blog. I would like to update to it ASAP.
And what of updates to other programs when they need updating? Finally, I cannot view changelogs within Synaptic and is this something to be concerned about?
