I could not reproduce this problem on the 32-bit UEFI hardware I have here: both 2.5 and 2.6 (installed with Tails Installer) boot fine, as far as UEFI & boot loaders are concerned. Can you please try to create a 2.6 stick with Universal USB Installer again, making sure you super-carefully follow our documentation?
