The usb port is worn out, as in i have to pay attention to only put it in half
way otherwise it doesnt see the key and it often dissappears to the system
while using. If I want to keep using tails, need to find a solution to boot
from sd.

no os has ever booted from sd even i tried several distros. the sd slot is just
not recognized by the bios.

i dont know where i can find help to hack the bios to support sd booting or how
to replace the bios with some other bios that has the abiliity to manage the sd
for boot device.

can anyone direct me where to find help for hacking/flashing the bios to
support sd booting?

Hi,

Unfortunately the ability of booting from SD card might be related to
your specific hardware, and tweaking your Tails isn't a good idea in
general.

Did you ever boot from SD card on that very same hardware?

You probably still can boot from USB?

Cheers.
