I don't know about "easy". Possible, certainly. The spacing and the knee-height bars are pretty awkward - can't walk on the logs, can't conveniently walk between them. But I'm not actually complaining. Second the notion that they're completely different to cattle grids. They're more like a "barrier=cycle_barrier", perhaps "barrier=horse_barrier"?
