Thanks Ben, Badmap is what I've been using over the last few months to find roads that need desparate attention. I've been cleaning up NE Melbourne and parts of SW Sydney.
Melbourne is looking pretty good, Sydney needs quite a bit of work. Another tool that I've been using to cleanup non-odbl stuff is the LicenceChange plugin for JOSM: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/JOSM/Plugins/LicenseChange The LicenceChange Plugin in combination with the History Tool in JOSM is very good for helping to salvage / clean up some roads in osm.
