Context: Jenolan Caves, there is a tunnel that connects two valleys. The GPS information contains errors that is enlarged by the reduced view of GPS satellites and by multipath reflections caused by the valley and the steep hillside that the tunnel passes through.

In some places I contend that the sat imagery is to be preferred as more precise/detailed compared to collected GPS data.

This occurs where the GPS data is either too widely spaced (limited number of samples) or compromised by reflections/reduced view of satellites.
