Hi all, The Telenav OSM map team is doing some research into open data available in Australia for potentially using to improve OSM. As you all probably know, there is already a substantial and well maintained page about open data sources at https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Australian_Data_Catalogue. Before we start adding things to this list, I thought it' be nice and good to discuss.
So far the team has identified the following sources that we'd like to gain permission to use in the future. https://data.gov.au/dataset/ipswich-city-traffic-signs/resource/6c822598-de01-4a51-a357-fa1e22039286 (CC-BY 3.0 Australia) https://data.gov.au/dataset/ipswich-traffic-signals/resource/af689406-9952-4bfd-b33a-98843e87bee2 (CC-BY-3.0 Australia) https://data.gov.au/dataset/trafficsignals (CC-BY 4.0 International) https://www.geelongaustralia.com.au/data/item/geelong-road-signs2.aspx (CC-BY 3.0 Australia) I'm wondering what the best way is to proceed.
