Some news on this as requested by some of you :)
(from metro extract instead of overpass)

On 01/07 :

 Number Of ways / Users
 count | osm_user
-------+---------------------
     1 | zors1843
     2 | D!zzy
     3 | Casimir EXTREME
     4 | Glenn Plas
    54 | Tbj
   308 | Jowielen
  1776 | BenoitL
  2797 | Polyglot
  3781 | Paul-Andre Duchesne
  8331 | Potato_Spirit
 10436 | FantAntonio99
 13555 | eMerzh
 19620 | foxandpotatoes

==> total : 60668
since 20-06 (last stat ) we've got : + 14718 ways
that give us : +1338 ways per day

i would like to make an estimation on what's left but i struggle a bit with
loading all urbis in my small db :p

As usual, the map
http://my.bmaron.net/public.php?service=files&t=afd7205a672d8a7e36e376d0def5f5c2

(don't trust too much those stats, they might be completely false :p )
