Hi, During State of the Map, the volunteers (mostly Belgians) kept everyone up to date using Slack. It's like IRC, only not as nerdy, with easy to install apps and a nice little web interface. We've had great fun there, and we're actually still using it! And it's also quite useful for little questions - especially for those who feel like we're a troop of lions here ont the mailing list.
I would like to invite you all there. Just a slight problem: I haven't been able to find an admin to set up an open invitation link (we're using a channel on the OSMF account).
