I'm going to be in Brasilia arriving in the morning on 15, leaving on the night of 18th. There's going to be two of us (Eric Gundersen will join me).
Would love to do some mapping there. Right now we're identifying priority areas in Brasilia and looking at knocking out as much as possible with satellite tracing before we get there. Especially in Brasilia's outskirts but more than anything in the surrounding cities (Itapoã, Sobradinho, Planaltina, Gama, Águas Lindas, São Sebastião) there is tons to map. Vitor and I've been also emailing directly. We're incredibly close to get permission to use this dataset from centrodametropole.br for street names in Sao Paulo...... just waiting here for a final permission by Daniel Waldvogel Thomé da Silva from the Universidade de São Paulo - if anyone has a line on Daniel, I would love to talk.
